At the same time they have tried to determine that which would make them feel as though they have achieved success. Some have defined success themselves, while others have been content to have others, or societies at large, define success for them. We would most certainly all agree that to a large degree, "success" is defined by the individual or group that is pursuing it. Is there an objective definition of success?I do think that there are some general principles, shown throughout history, which measure true success. I would like to give you some principles that I believe are helpful when thinking about the subject for yourself, your family, and your career. Before we begin, I need to say that I am excited about the direction that much of the recent success literature has taken. While I don't agree with all of the viewpoints that are expressed, I am glad that more emphasis has been placed on what I call "whole life" success, including such things as family, health, and spirituality. Success literature that is centered on financial wealth and the attaining of material possessions only, is not truly success literature in the broadest sense of the term. While financial success is good, it is certainly not the final measurement of the fulfilled life. To truly understand success, one must first understand the nature of human beings. I believe that you would agree with me that humans are in their very nature a trichotomy, that is, they are made up of three parts:In the past, success has come to be measured by a basic core of measurable objectives, all of which, in and of themselves are fine, but in and of themselves are totally inadequate to fulfill a person.

BreakingNewsDec 30 Tehran University, IranCollege students chanting: "Reformists, Principalists, GAME OVER"IranProtests pic. twitter. com/Ta3nq06sI7What we are witnessing in the protests spreading across Iran during the past ten months have been a wave launched by the largely poor and rural branches of Irans society. Setting aside those ruling the country and enjoying ties to the regime, the economic crisis engulfing Iran is having a deep impact on nearly every household. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, another reformist, had promised to realize economic prosperity following the JCPOA. However, more billions were funneled to fuel the clerical regimes support for Bashar Assad in Syria, Houthi militias in Yemen, the Lebanese Hezbollah, sectarian militias in Iraq, further development of ballistic missiles and the list goes on. More reason why over 140 cities erupted in major revolt back in December 2017, far before Trump imposed sanctions. It is quite telling that from that turn of events, the clerical regimes bubble of enjoying the support of the lower, dispossessed class in Iran, has burst. All the while, Irans middle class or whatever is left of it as 80 percent of the population lives in poverty is also seen taking to the streets and expressing their anger very publicly on the fact that this regime has failed to deliver socially and economically. With Iran's regime suffering from a variety of crises, the ongoing protests and strikes are lesser discussed in the media. My @AlArabiya Eng take digs into the highly important IranProtests.

The same gun freaks believe in banning drugs. They believe in banning abortions. They recognize society bans certain things for the good of society. We should ban guns for the good of society. People have romanticized guns. The Founding Fathers. The Old West. Self defense and never mind the average American has only a one in 250 chance of being the victim of a violent crime. It's all a delusion. Guns kill. They kill people from a distance.
